The Bedford Life Saving Crew recognizes Jennifer Overstreet as the Crew Member of The Quarter for Oct-Dec, 2008. Each year Squad 1 holds a Christmas dinner that gives the members and their families a chance to relax and celebrate the teamwork and association they have with each other. Jen went over and above all expectations in helping to organize the dinner and even went so far as to make Christmas stockings for each of her fellow crew members.

Jennifer’s contributions have also been outstanding as a member of the Recruitment and Retention Committee. Since Squad 1 relies on people—volunteers—to serve the community, Jennifer’s work in that role has been and continues to be extremely valuable to us and to the community we serve.
